Our location

Castle House is situated in a quiet residential area of Torrington, a market town in rural North Devon.

The property backs onto a widely known viewpoint called Castle Hill offering wide views of the countryside whilst local amenities are just a 5 minute walk away in the town centre.

The town offers a wide range of services, attractions and shops, many of which are independently traded alongside a good community spirit.

Adequate parking is available within the properties own grounds, and there is a bus stop in the town centre just a few minutes walk from the home with connections within North Devon and beyond.

History

Castle House was once a Georgian gentleman's residence that was converted in the early 1980's to provide 24 hour nursing care.

The home has been carefully and thoughtfully refurbished to retain its character whilst creating a warn, intimate atmosphere for those requiring 24-hour care.

In December 2007 the home was acquired by Cherry Garden Properties Ltd.
